God may not always answer prayers, but he always answers people. -Anonymous

Luke 11:9, And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

I am glad we have access to our Heavenly Father! We can go before Him at any time or any place. We can come to Him with sincere questions about life. We can plead our case before Him. We can praise His name. We can just say thank you. No matter what, we have complete and total access to the Lord! What a joy it is to know we can call out to Him in our midnight hours and He is there!

What’s on your heart this morning? Have you gone to the Lord in prayer? Hey friend, He is ever available for you and I to call out to Him with what’s on our mind! Don’t hesitate!

CHRIST GIVES ACCESS

A man is never so "fit for believing" as when, in himself, he is most unfit...What is fitness for being washed? Filth, and filth alone. What is fitness for receiving alms? Poverty, abject need. What is fitness for receiving pardon? Guilt, and only guilt. If you are guilty...if you are foul, you have all the fitness that is required. So, come and find in Jesus Christ all that meets your greatest and most urgent need. -Spurgeon

Romans 5:1-2, Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Christ gives access to peace. The peace that passes all understanding. The peace that comforts. Peace that you cannot get anywhere else. Do you have that type of peace? When life is collapsing around you, can you access that peace?

If you have never experienced that type of peace, GET UP, GET READY, and GO TO YOUR LOCAL- BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCH for their Sunday morning worship because Christ gives access to that peace!

ACCESSIBILITY IS A NECESSITY

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18

Going in and out of the facilities I work in you must have one of four things; permission, an ID card, a key, or an access card. I have gotten to some of the facilities and the individual I am there to see isn’t on so I cannot get permission to go to the equipment I need to do maintenance on. I have gotten to the administration buildings where you check in at only to realize I left my ID card back in my truck. Every once and a while I’ll pick up the wrong keys getting to the facility and praying someone will be there to let me in to the areas I need to be at. Then, on occasion, the access card I have decides it doesn’t want to work so I cannot get into the building at all. Accessibility is a necessity to get my job done! Accessibility is important!

Accessibility is a necessity in our walk with Jesus as well! Without access to the source of our strength we will become weak and will be overtaken by Satan. Here are three things you can do to become and remain strong in the Lord.

One: To have any access to the Father you must be saved. You must repent of your sins, trusting in Jesus as your Saviour. “Ye must be born again.”

Two: You must be without sin to have access to the Father. “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

Three: You must speak to Him. “…ye have not, because ye ask not.”

There was a time when we could not come before God because of our sin but now we can because of the precious shed blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ. The only thing that keeps the access line open is a saved, clean life. Do you have that today?

YOU’VE GOT ACCESS TO THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!

Every believer has equal and instant access to God.—Paul Chappell

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14

What a privilege for us to have access to the Lord. When Jesus died on the Cross He provided us access to God through the shedding of His blood! We do not have to go through a priest. We do not have to make an appointment. We don’t have to request a meeting. Each believer can, at anytime, call out to Him and He hears us! He hears our cries of desperation when someone dies. He hears our cries of hurt when someone betrays us. He hears our praises. He hears our worship. He hears us when we whisper His name for help because we have been given access by His Only Begotten Son, Jesus!

When is the last time you accessed Him?
